Full HD is only 2 Megapixel!
StarDot's SC cameras support HD resolutions and beyond. HD or high definition video is a widescreen format that is a subset of the full resolution of the sensor. In other words, to produce HD video, you have to throw away pixels to achieve the correct widescreen format.
The NetCam SC cameras support 720P (1280x720) and 1080P (1920x1080) resolution on the 3 and 5 megapixel models. The cameras also support the full 2048x1536 (3MP) and 2592x1944 (5MP) resolutions, which are significantly higher than the 1 and 2 megapixel HD resolutions.
Your 1080P Television at home is 1920x1080 resolution. The math is simple, 1920 times 1080 equal 2.07 megapixel. Try our NetCam SC 5MP and 10MP to see the higher resolutions for your security surveillance needs.
