StarDot Megapixel IP Cameras Now Integrated with Milestone Systems IP Video Management Platform

COPENHAGEN – Aug 25, 2008. StarDot’s line of NetCam SC high definition megapixel IP cameras is now supported by the Milestone XProtect™ IP video management platform. StarDot Technologies, a California-based designer and manufacturer of network video hardware, is an official Manufacturer Alliance Partner of Milestone Systems, a world leading developer of true open platform IP video management software.

Milestone’s integration of the NetCam SC cameras provides value to customers by giving them significantly more visual data than a standard IP or CCTV camera. The combination of StarDot and Milestone provides a powerful solution for capturing detailed video of faces, license plates and monetary transactions.

A particularly strong need for high definition video is coming from the homeland security sector, and megapixel IP cameras are also a popular choice for banking, transportation and retail applications.
