The most popular method to turn a StarDot IP camera into a wireless device is to connect a WiFi bridge or client radio to NetCam's Ethernet port. This allows NetCam to talk wireless to your access point. With the right radios and antennas, distances up to 60 miles have been achived (requires line of sight between the antennas).
If wireless Ethernet is not possible, cellular or satellite may be an option.
Cellular is best done using a mobile router that has a slot for a celluar data card. The router acts like a typical router used for cable or DSL access. Most cellular providers include wording in their terms of service that exclude the use of cameras or hosting as part of their unlimited data plans. Be sure to check with your cellular provider before putting a camera online.
Satellite allows Internet access in all of the lower 48 states, provided you have an unobstructed view of the southern sky. Some satellite providers require that they do the installation of the satellite dish and modem. They may also restrict the use of cameras on their network.
There are many StarDot customers using our cameras wirelessly, whether it's a WiFI, cellular or satellite. As a camera manufacturer, we do not offer or support the wireless equipment.
